Since ERA was first released in April 2021, we have received a lot of requests for a macOS version of ERA. And now, after months of development, we are proud to announce that a macOS version of ERA is on the way!
TL;DR
We are working on a ERA port for macOS and will support the Apple Silicon processor. There will be a closed alpha version soon, expected to be ready by mid-February. The release date for the final version is still uncertain and will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
ERA On MacOS
Since December 2021, we have been actively working on the macOS port. We are excited to bring ERA's powerful features and functionality to Apple's popular platform. However, as of the writing of this post, we are still undecided about whether to release an additional x86 version. Regardless of which direction we go, we are committed to make sure that ERA works seamlessly on your mac.
The Next Steps
Although we are still ironing out a few minor issues with the port, we are confident that we those issues will be resolved in the coming weeks. Additionally, we need to make a few macOS-specific changes to the application, such as repositioning the menu bar to the top.
Closed Alpha
