Greetings to all ERA users,
The past two years have been relatively quiet. We haven’t released any updates, as a lot of work was happening behind the scenes.
Development for ERA version 2.4 started in mid-2024, but progress was slower than expected. Eventually, development was paused and ERA went into a longer hiatus.
During that time, several things changed. The original founder of ERA founded a new company called SymbolicLabs.
With this post, we are happy to announce that ERA is now officially part of SymbolicLabs and development will continue.
The good news is that the original founder of ERA, Kian, is also the founder of SymbolicLabs and remains the project lead of ERA. This means there will be no major changes to the vision of the project.
Being part of SymbolicLabs now allows ERA to receive more resources and support, which will help move the project forward and build an even better version of the software.
In the coming weeks we will share more details about the next major release of ERA: ERA version 3.0.
