We have been working over the past few weeks to bring you some exciting new features and bug fixes. Today, we are thrilled to introduce to you the release of ERA version 1.14.1, which includes a range of improvements designed to help you be more productive and efficient.
Let's take a closer look at the new features and fixes that you can expect with ERA version 1.14.1.
Introducing New Features
One of the most significant changes in this update is the enhanced rendering and styling in view mode. Notes are now better formatted and styled, making it easier to read and work with your content. Additionally, we have added JSON for syntax highlighting in markdown code blocks, which makes it easier to work with code snippets in your notes.
Another new feature is the automatic scroll in view mode. Now, when you create a new draft, ERA will automatically scroll down to bring the draft into your view. This small addition saves you time and makes working with drafts even more convenient.
We've also added new features to the context menu. You can now see details about your draft, such as creation date, word count, and char count. Additionally, you can export drafts via the context menu, making it easier to share your work with others.
Bug Fixes
In addition to these new features, ERA version 1.14.1 also includes a range of important bug fixes. We addressed a content bug that occurred when a user deleted a workspace. Previously, drafts would remain in the system even after the workspace was deleted, which could lead to confusion and clutter in the system. With this update, all drafts will be removed when a workspace is deleted.
We also fixed an issue that occurred when only one workspace was available. Previously, there was no message when a draft could not be moved, and the dropdown box would simply appear empty. Now, a clear message will be displayed, making it easier to understand why the draft cannot be moved.
Finally, we updated the error handling for the update-notification mechanism. If an error occurs, ERA will now handle it more effectively and give you better feedback.
Version History
As always, you can view our version history to see what improvements we have provided over the last few updates. We are committed to continuously improving ERA and providing you with the best possible experience, so be sure to keep an eye out for future updates and new features.
We hope that you enjoy the new features and improvements in ERA version 1.14.1. If you haven't updated yet, we encourage you to do so to take advantage of all of the new features and bug fixes. Thank you for your continued support of ERA, and happy note-taking!
